Gift the Best of Asia
The winter holidays are right around the corner! Time to get your gift getting on, and we're here to help with some of our handpicked favorites. First up: the best of Asia.
Ceramics
While Pearl River Mart has changed over the past 54 years, our ceramics collection has remained as extensive and lovingly curated as ever.
Some of our recent vase favorites include these mini cloisonne pairs, these lovely cylinder brush holders, and these sweet ginger jars. For the table are these clever takeout box bowls, pretty mini plates, and adorable chopstick rests.
For tea lovers are these traditional cherry blossom and modern tea sets. Meanwhile sake drinkers might enjoy any of our Japanese-style sets.
Cultural figurines
Whether they want to create a sense of whimsy, serenity, or good feng shui, a cultural figurine might add just the right touch. We're partial to this wooden medicine Buddha, believed to alleviate suffering; this walnut laughing Buddha, thought to attract joy and food fortune; and this peace-loving Budai which doubles as a piggy bank.
These charming clay figurines have always been special to us. Created in the tradition of a 200-year-old Tianjin folk art, each has an auspicious meaning, including granting wishes, symbolizing the good life, and attracting prosperity.
Of course you can't go wrong with a lucky cat. The maneki-neko with its waving paw is believed to attract prosperity. These colorful, bobbing head, and ceramic "seven blessings" versions are the cat's meow.
Asian-themed ornaments
Some people collect stamps — others horde Christmas ornaments (in the best way of course!).
We love these hand-painted glass ornaments with classic Chinese designs. Foodies might eat up these instant noodles, dumplings, and Sriracha while those who love luck would bank on a guardian foo dog, auspicious fish, and lucky cats.
