Made with premium ingredients and no artificial food coloring, Bad for Business's Banana Ketchup is inspired by the classic Filipino banana ketchup invented by Maria Orosa, a historic figure in Philippine history. During World War II, a recipe for a tomato-less condiment was made for the growing demand for ketchup by American soldiers.

The Banana Ketchup is rooted in ingredients from the native Philippine Islands: coconut vinegar, sea salt, sugar, spices and of course bananas. Chef Francis Maling's original recipe is made with apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, onions, and red chili peppers. In lieu of the toxic red-40 coloring, they use a proprietary blend of vegetable powders to give it the reddish hue.
