Also known as floating lantern or wishing lantern (in Chinese: Kongming lantern). It is a small hot air balloon made of paper. In Asia and elsewhere around the world, sky lanterns have been traditionally launched for play, festivities, or making wishes. It illuminates to show great color and light in the sky, they fly up and away going over a mile high.
