From Judy: The tea lover will love a ceramic tea set, book about tea, and organic artisanal loose leafs from Anna Ye and Senbird, says the Pearl River Mart Foods general manager.

The Fashionista

For the fashionista, feast your eyes on these clothing picks:

From Wendy: The Soho sales associate will be treating herself to this gorgeous embroidered kimono jacket with floral design. Available in black and red, either perfect for New Year’s Eve or Lunar New Year.

From Wilkie: This maroon tang-style jacket has an all over longevity character print. Our Vice President's friend will be wearing it for both Lunar New Year and his daughter’s wedding. (Sorry, the jacket is currently sold out.)

From Georgia: Marketing assistant Georgia can't decide which pants? This season we have two styles of elegant wide-legged pants: one heavier and one lighter. Both are flowy with embroidered floral designs on the waist. Maybe get both?

The Collector

From Lourdes: You’re not seeing double! Lucia and Lourdes are twins who work at Pearl River! Also a sales associate supervisor, Lourdes’s holiday horde includes a One Piece pencil case, Unicorno blind boxes, and a kawaii Pochacco bag.

From Gwen: The buyer and visual merchandiser has quite a stash! Including Mega Cat Project blind boxes, a Calcifer plush from Howl’s Moving Castle, a Hello Kitty plush, and Unicorno plushes.

From Johnny: Meanwhile our inventory and warehouse manager has gone minimalist with one selection — a collectible 1989 Godzilla figurine.

From Mrs. Chen: Everyone loves funny socks, whether cool dads or tuxedo cat moms, as well as sassy oven mitts. The Pearl River Mart founder is also into fruit and flower soaps imported from Thailand (currently sold out). They smell like the real thing!

From Joanne: If you get a tiny plant in a pretty blue and white planter, know that Joanne has grown it just for you! She also recommends a bevy of books, including Ed Cheng’s Tiny Grains, Connie Chung's new memoir, New York Nico's Guide to New York City (Pearl River Mart is on page 68!); and another beautiful photography book, Corky Lee’s Asian America: Fifty Years of Photographic Justice.
