Thrillist: The Best Stuff to Do for Free in NYC This Winter

Thanks to Thrillist for including our Jan. 22 lion dancing performance, upcoming art exhibition by Warren King, and Chelsea Market Lunar New Year celebration in their listing of free winter activities. From the article:

This month, welcome the Year of the Rabbit at one of the city’s most beloved marketplaces, Pearl River Mart. Held at their SoHo locale, guests will be able to catch performances by professional lion dancing crews, as well as peruse an art exhibit titled Our Roots Run Deep: Finding Home in Chinatown. Within the gallery space, check out artist Warren King’s cardboard sculptures and hanging mixed media, which show beautiful and honest depictions of life in New York City’s Chinatown. Also, drop by the Chelsea outpost on Saturday, January 28 for their annual Lunar New Year celebration, which includes food vendor deals and a dance performance by the talented Ling Tang.
