Yunnan Gold Tip Black Tea, Rare

Also known as dian hung, this black tea hails from Yunnan province in southwest China. It's considered one of the highest grades of black tea produced there. 

The dark gold leaves come from the oxidization process. Once brewed the leaves become reddish-gold.

What's black tea?

Black tea is the most oxidized of all the teas. In oxidation tea leaves are exposed to the air to dry and darken. The more oxidized a tea is, the stronger it is. From strongest to lightest are black, oolong, green, and white teas.
