Tibetan singing bowls provide a soothing, resonant sound. You can tap the edge of the bowl with the mallet or gently rotate the mallet around the edge of the bowl.
Believed to promote relaxation, relieve stress, and produce other healing effects. Despite their name, the bowls may not have originated in Tibet. Popularized in the U.S. in the 1970s, the bowls bear a striking resemblance to the Japanese rin gong.
